Well my first posting is meant to be the least engaging. That is to rule out those of you who would latch onto something attention getting or shiny (much like a roving magpie would). This is not to say that I will not be generous with ideas, images, or links in the future. I just think there is something valuable about easing into something and avoiding the pressure of first impressions.

So, this blog is called "Pretty Sauce" and is more or less about all aspects of food. The sauce being the element that binds, transforms, and ultimately makes the food a bit more presentational (or at least edible). It will develop over time, and I hope it is rewarding for all involved.
